Porcelain veneers are a complete ‘game changer’ for your smile as they can improve both the shape and colour of teeth. These thin yet strong ‘shells’ are fitted onto the front of unattractive teeth, particularly the more visible ones at the front of the mouth.
They are a great option to improve the appearance of teeth that are irregularly shaped or that have become yellower or darker over time.
LoBespoke shaping means that smiles can be made straighter and more balanced, while the choice of colour shade allows for either natural improvement or a celebrity-style look. The treatment can be used to improve one individual problem tooth or several for an overall smile transformation.
We aim to make our treatments as affordable as possible and ensure our prices are competitive compared to other local dentists in Berkshire.
Our porcelain veneers therefore cost from only £700.

Before any treatment is undertaken, your teeth will first need to be checked to assess whether they are suitable for veneers. If all is well and you decide to proceed then, at the first treatment appointment, a small amount of the natural tooth surface will be removed to allow for the new veneer to sit on top.
Impressions are taken and these are forwarded on to a laboratory for the veneers to be bespokely crafted.
At the next appointment these are fitted onto the teeth using a secure resin cement. The tooth is then polished to give the final result.
Though not designed to be permanent solution, veneers are generally very durable and can last for 10 to 15 years. The exact time varies depending on how well they are looked after. Like natural teeth, veneers can be chipped and damaged, so it is adisable to take care when eating harder foods.
A good, regular oral hygiene routine is also strongly recommended.
Porcelain is widely used for dental treatments such veneers as it has a number of advantageous properties. Its strength and durability means that the results can be very long lasting, it doesn’t aggravate the gum tissue and it is generally resitant to staining, allowing your new smile to stay whiter for longer.
